Getting Set Up
- Mount the valve onto your 2900S-compatible mineral tank over the distributor/riser tube, making sure the riser is cut flush, chamfered, and centered so it seats cleanly.
- Select and install the correct Drain Line Flow Control button for your tank diameter (sold separately) — this sets the backwash rate that lifts and cleans the resin bed.
- Connect the 2" inlet and outlet plumbing, the 1" drain line, and the 1/2" brine line to the 1700 brine system.
- Connect the 24V DC U.S. power supply and program the NXT2: set time of day, hardness, and cycle times. As shipped it regenerates on a time schedule — add the electronic meter and cable later to run on demand.
